ENDEAVOUR HILLS will need to have their best batting performance of the season if they are to trace down Brunswick’s score of 251 in Sub-Division cricket.
The Brunswick innings was set in motion early at A.G Gillon Oval via a 90-run first-wicket partnership from John Carpenter (43) and Jarrod Hopkins (52).
After a 12-over delay due to rain, batters Peter Radford (63) and Stephen Power (51) compiled a 104 run part-nership that further troubled the bowlers.
Richard Saniga (2/62) and Matt Foenander (2/40) tried in vain to restrict the run flow.
The Hills will now have to produce their highest score of the season if they wish to record their first victory.
The chase is made even harder due to the fact that they have only 68 overs in which to reach the target.
Best knock needed by Hills
