A NARRE Warren man was arrested after he crashed into a bedroom of a Dandenong retirement unit on the weekend.
About 11.22pm on 12 December, police tried intercept a Hyundai Excel that was travelling along Robinson Street.
As soon as police activated the lights and siren, the driver turned west into Hutton Street.
Police said the Hyundai left the road, went through a fence and collided into the bedroom of a unit.
Police arrested a 20-year-old Narre Warren man at the scene.
The occupants of the retirement unit, who were asleep in the bedroom at the time, escaped injury.
Police are currently interviewing the learner driver and expect to charge him with conduct endangering life along with other traffic charges.
