Day care in place

PLACES are currently available in the City of Casey’s Family Day Care program.
The Family Day Care program is the biggest of its type in Australia with more than 2000 Casey children being cared for through the affordable and flexible service.
City of Casey children’s services manager Colette McMahon said family day care is a great option for parents when choosing childcare as they only pay for the times that are booked.
“Family Day Care provides quality, affordable and flexible childcare in a home environment with only a small number of children being cared for at any time,” she said.
“Parents also have the additional benefit of care providers being able to assist with dropping-off and picking-up children from local schools and kindergartens.”
Casey’s Family Day Care service is a council-sponsored childcare program funded by the Commonwealth Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.
All care providers operate under the City of Casey’s Service Provider Agreement and in accordance with state and national standards.
