POLICE from the Casey Response Unit have charged a Lynbrook man with 10 counts of petrol theft, theft from motor vehicle, cultivating a narcotic plant, using drug of dependence, possessing drug of dependence and traffic offences.
Detectives searched a 31-year-old’s home where his late model Holden SS Commodore sedan and a number of cannabis plants were seized.
According to police, the petrol thefts occurred at service stations in Hampton Park and Lyndhurst over the past six months.
The man was bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 1 May.
