Narre Warren’s Officeworks store, along with other Victorian Officeworks stores, have helped to raise $89,882 towards the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation.

As part of Officeworks’ Make a Difference Appeal, customers were encouraged to make a contribution at the checkout in-store or online with funds going directly to a local community organisation chosen by store teams.

Officeworks Narre Warren chose to raise funds for the RCH Foundation, to support the care, treatment, research and learning that will improve the lives of young people and their families.

Officeworks Narre Warren store business manager James Bongers said the store were “incredibly proud” of the local community and its team members in their support of the RCH Foundation and the Make a Difference Appeal.

“Thank you to all of our customers who donated to this year’s Make a Difference Appeal and for supporting our local community,” he said.

RCH Foundation chief executive Sue Hunt AM said the foundation was “incredibly grateful” for the support.

“The generosity of Officeworks in supporting the RCH Education Institute and the Wadja Aboriginal Family Place will have a significant impact on the lives of some of the hospital’s sickest and most vulnerable children,” she said.
