A CASEY councillor has rejected claims she is seeking a role as a state MP.
Four Oaks Ward coun-cillor Shar Balmes said she had no political aspirations, and was not even a member of a political party. “I’m definitely not running. I haven’t even thought about it,” she said.
“My desire is to represent the people of Four Oaks and serve the wider community of Casey to the best of my ability. I want to be a spokesperson for the residents and advocate for them and listen to their concerns,” Cr Balmes said.
