Police hunt petrol thieves

STOLEN number plates were used during two lots of petrol thefts in Doveton recently.
The number plates, UXL 861, were stolen from the second level of a car park in Thomas Street in Dandenong on 23 February, and used on the same day to steal petrol at the BP service station in Doveton. Police said the number plates were again used to steal petrol at the same service station on 9 March.
