NOMINATIONS are open until 28 May for up to 15 community members to join Casey council’s Conservation Advisory Committee.
The committee provides interested residents with the chance to give feedback to the council on a variety of environmental topics, such as conservation, heritage and sustainability.
One of the aims of the committee is to foster community involvement on a range of environmental programs.
The committee meets on the first Wednesday evening of the month and membership is for a two year period from July.
Nominations are welcome from community members with an interest in one or more of the following areas: sustainability, climate change and energy use, waste and material management, water, natural environment, land use, cultural heritage and environmental education.
