They plan to plan

A FREE event planning seminar is coming to Casey.
The seminar, on Wednesday 30 June, will provide relevant and interesting training to all community event organisers.
City of Casey mayor Lorraine Wreford said the seminar provided an opportunity for community event organisers to network and discuss important issues with City of Casey staff.
Guest speakers at the seminar will include City of Casey staff who specialise in the areas of environmental health, community inclusion, community grants, leisure development and events.
The major topics of discussion will include event planning, food permit requirements, grant opportunities and event compliance.
The seminar will be held at City of Casey Council Chambers at the Civic Centre in Narre Warren from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Participants must RSVP by Wednesday 23 June.
