Winter arts on show

THERE is something for all ages at this year’s Casey Winter Arts Program.
Held throughout July, the program features a range of free or affordable music, theatre, dance and visual arts activities.
More than 30 artists and groups are taking part in the program, which will begin on 3 July with a free open day. The Casey Winter Arts Program will also feature a week-long program of free arts activities for primary-aged school children from 5 July to 9 July.
Held at The Factory Rehearsal Centre for the Arts in Cranbourne East, the kids program aims to inspire children while educating them about music, dance, physical activity and different cultures.
Participants of the Casey Sings community singing workshops will also perform as a choir at the open day. Bookings are essential for the free art workshops as part of the Casey Kids’ Program. To book and find out about the full calendar of events call 9705 5200.
