A star double- Above: Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson kicked the night off with the title t

By Stewart Chambers
KASEY Chambers performed an acoustic and intimate show with her husband Shane Nicholson at the Hallam Hotel last Wednesday night.
The affable and funny country singer thanked the sellout crowd for sacrificing MasterChef to come and see their show.
Chambers did, however, admit she was a massive fan of reality television, and refuses to watch a show where nobody is eliminated.
The pair kicked off the gig with a track from their album, “Rattlin’ Bones.”
The show was a crowd pleaser with songs from The Captain, Wayward Angel and Barricades and Brickwalls.
Nicholson also played songs from his solo album, “Familiar Ghosts.”
Later, Chambers gave a plug to the merchandise stall, which was run by her mother.
There were requests from the crowd during the show and an encore, which featured the Cyndi Lauper classic “True Colors.”
The final song of the night, which got the crowd going, was the upbeat, “We’re All Gonna Die Someday.”
