THE Cranbourne Football Club’s All Abilities Team is on the hunt for new players and supporters.
The team, formed last year with support from the City of Casey, VicHealth and Football Integration Development Association, competes in the FIDA competition.
City of Casey sport and leisure acting manager Andrew Butterfield said the team was back together for 2010 and had been training hard after a visit from Melbourne Football Club players Matthew Bate and Jake Spencer.
The team trains on Tuesday nights from 4.30pm to 5.30pm at Casey Fields in Cranbourne East.
They are gearing up to take on Ringwood down at Casey Fields at 11am on 11 July.
FIDA is a competitive fixture of the AFL for players with an intellectual disability aged 14 to 50 years.
For details call Melanie Lindsay on 0432 595 780 or the City of Casey customer service on 9705 5200.
