A WOMAN suffered injuries to her leg after a dog attack in Narre Warren last Friday.
Paramedics treated the 22-year-old after she was mauled along Kurrajong Road just before 3pm.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said the woman approached the “sick-looking” dog in the street before it attacked her.
She received bite marks to her leg and sustained head injuries after she fell while trying to run away from the dog.
Paramedics bandaged the bite area and gave the woman pain relief through an inhaler.
She was taken to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition.
