Video’s students in the frame

By Rebecca Fraser
MOST kids can only dream about being in a rock video, but for 250 students at Narre Warren South P-12 College this wish has become a reality.
This week, production company Master Films produced a film for rock band Rook in the school’s grounds and provided hands-on experience for senior students.
College principal Ross Miller said the students had greatly enjoyed the project, which had provided an exceptional opportunity for selected drama, media and physical education students.
Master Films will produce the film for international distribution. All students involved would have a name credit on the end of the DVD, which will be distributed by MGM Distribution.
The film will be available from stores such as Sanity, Virgin and other popular music stores across Australia.
Filming took place in the P.E. centre and the College grounds on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, two army trucks from the Army Reserve in Dandenong and a helicopter were used in a film sequence.
