PARENTS spent a day with their children at Fountain Gate Primary School last Thursday for a “parents arts afternoon.”
Each classroom at the Narre Warren school ran arts activities ranging from creating murals, to dioramas and making paper flowers.
Acting assistant principal at Fountain Gate Primary School Mary Hutchinson dubbed the day a success, saying there was a huge number of parents in each classroom.
“It was fantastic,” Ms Hutchinson said.
“This was the first time we’ve run it and we’ll definitely do it again. It was very successful.”
The parents also enjoyed tea and coffee in the staff room at the end of the arts day.
