A MAN got the shock of his life when two intruders broke into his Cranbourne North house over the weekend, armed with a machete and a shortened longarm.
Police said the 49-year-old was asleep on his couch when the men broke into the house through the rear door at 2.30am on 21 August.
The men demanded the home-owner tell them where “Lionel” was, despite the man not knowing who he was.
Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Senior Constable Marc Newton at the Narre Warren police station on 9705 3111.
