GRANTS of up to $200,000 are available to help expand and improve kindergartens throughout Victoria. Applications are now open for the program, with Minister for Children and Early Childhood Development Maxine Morand saying the extra funding would provide support for community-based kindergartens to expand their programs.
As part of the Brumby Government’s investment in early years’ services, more than $134 million has been provided in infrastructure funding since 1999.
Applications for the grants close on 9 September.
