THE Doveton Show is rolling into town on Sunday 19 September.
Families will be treated to a range of rides, cultural performances, sheep shearing, chainsaw carving demonstrations and an arts and craft competition at this year’s event at Myuna Farm, Doveton.
Children will get the chance to get up close to sheep, alpacas, deer and cattle, and the popular animal nursery which houses guinea pigs and rabbits, along with baby animals such as lambs and piglets.
Entry to this year’s show is by gold coin donation and all rides and activities are available at a low cost or are free.
All money raised will go into supporting the show in future years.
Visitors are encouraged to walk or catch public transport as only disabled parking is available onsite. Parking will be available at Robert Booth Reserve and Betula Reserve.
The Doveton Show runs from 10 am to 4pm. For details visit www.dovetonshow.org.au
