CASEY council now offers operational and minor equipment grants, providing one-off annual funds to community groups and organisations.
The City of Casey has recently reviewed its grants program resulting in new and improved funding opportunities for the community.
City of Casey community strengthening manager Janette Green said the grants could be used by community organisations and groups to assist them in training volunteers, setting up their operations and for minor equipment needed to help them deliver their services or activities.
“Funding of up to $500 per community group or organisation is available, so I encourage interested parties to apply,” she said.
Applications close at 5pm on Friday 15 October.
