BUS services in Berwick are set to be extended at the start of December, enabling residents greater access to Parkhill Plaza and Berwick Railway Station.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan apologised for providing incorrect information to the News last week about Route 839.
Mr Donnellan said the services on Route 839 were set to begin on Monday 27 September.
He said this was now not the case.
“There has been a delay due the need for consultation with Casey Council and the community. The consultation will take place over the next month or so,” Mr Donnellan said. The extension to route 839 is one of the new and improved routes to be announced as part of a $4.8 million boost from the State Government to local bus networks, following reviews of bus services in Casey, Cardinia and Greater Dandenong.
