OLLIES, flips and aerials were some of the moves by Casey’s skateboarders and BMX riders, which wooed crowds at the opening of the Buchanan Skate Park last Wednesday.
The thrill seekers tested Berwick’s new “street course”, which features a banked hip, quarter pipe, manual pad, ledge, rails, kicker and stairs.
The $200,000 multi-use skate park, located on Clyde Road, has been designed for beginner and intermediate skateboarders and BMX riders.
