TWO cars were set alight in separate incidents in the City of Casey last week.
Police said the first car fire occurred at 11.55pm on 24 October in Cranbourne North. A stolen white Nissan sedan parked near the Courtney Gardens Primary School was set alight. The second incident occurred at 1.30am on 25 October in Harkaway. Police said a white Holden station wagon was set alight on Chadwick Road.
CFA and police attended both cases where the stolen cars had outstanding warrants. Police do not believe the two fires are related.
