A MAN left empty-handed after attempting to rob Kelly’s Motor Club Hotel in Cranbourne on the weekend.
Police said at 1.15pm on 23 October, a man walked to a cashier in the gaming area and demanded $50 and $100 notes. He handed the cashier a note that read “this is not a joke.”
But the cashier did not hand over any money.
A witness told police the man was seen in the area an hour earlier and appeared to be nervous.
