CHILDREN had a great time showing their family and friends the many activities they do while attending the Funtime pre-kinder activity program held at Narre Warren Community Learning Centre.
Grandparents, parents, siblings, uncles and aunties tried their hands at a number of the activities, including play-dough, painting, collage and water play.
The program offers children an opportunity to learn to socialise, share and develop friendship and skills in all areas of the child’s development.
Janice Moran and Jenny Colins from Funtime said children’s confidence and self-esteem blossoms through these activities.
Funtime has been operating at Narre Community Centre for 24 years and has grown from one session for 10 children to eight sessions per week with more than 100 children attending each week.
Residents are invited to a ‘Come and See’ day at Funtime, 1 Malcolm Court, Narre Warren, on 3 November from 9.30am until 3pm.
