WILSON Botanic Park in Berwick is the scene for entertainment and relaxation this year, making the most of those warm days and nights.
Casey residents have been encouraged to get together with friends on Sunday afternoons and enjoy the free music from some great young musicians, spoil their partner at the special Valentines Picnic, or take the kids to see the latest Chronicles of Narnia twilight movie.

Enjoy the music of some great young musicians, bring a picnic and rug and relax on the lawns every Sunday afternoon between 1-4pm until 5 March.
Movies in the Park
Don’t miss the stunning Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at the park on Saturday, 18 February. Starts at sunset, adults $10, children $7 and concession $8
Swing by the Lake
A must for music fans. Melbourne’s own Big Band of Swing plus rhythm and blues bring the park alive with groovy tunes. Learn to dance with the Swing Patrol for a free group lesson.

There is over three kilometres of walking trails meandering amidst native and exotic gardens at Wilson Botanic Park as well as the lake.
The lookout tower also offers spectacular views of Casey and Port Phillip Bay.
Other park facilities include a bird hide, event amphitheatre, rose garden, lakeside picnic lawn, children’s playground and electric barbecues.
The park is used extensively over the summer season for wedding and naming ceremonies and photographs.
Bookings are essential and fees apply.
Visitors are welcome to bring their dog for a walk in the park, but dogs must be on a lead at all times.
The park is open seven days a week (except Christmas Day and Good Friday) from 7am – 5pm.
Open 7am – 8pm during daylight saving. Entry is free.
