Summer fun in the park

By Rebecca Fraser
WILSON Botanic Park in Berwick is the scene for entertainment and relaxation this year, making the most of those warm days and nights.
Casey residents have been encouraged to get together with friends on Sunday afternoons and enjoy the free music from some great young musicians, spoil their partner at the special Valentines Picnic, or take the kids to see the latest Chronicles of Narnia twilight movie.
FREE Summer Youth Music
Enjoy the music of some great young musicians, bring a picnic and rug and relax on the lawns every Sunday afternoon between 1-4pm until 5 March.
Movies in the Park
Don’t miss the stunning Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at the park on Saturday, 18 February. Starts at sunset, adults $10, children $7 and concession $8
Swing by the Lake
A must for music fans. Melbourne’s own Big Band of Swing plus rhythm and blues bring the park alive with groovy tunes. Learn to dance with the Swing Patrol for a free group lesson.
