A NARRE Warren South business has set a benchmark by winning the Victorian Chemmart Pharmacy of the Year.
Casey Central Chemmart Pharmacy received the prestigious award in Sydney in recognition of its commitment to catering to the health care needs of the local community
The awards recognise excellence in customer service, store presentation, staff training and business management.
Owners Carolyn Wynen, Anthony Tassone and Zoltan Toskov accepted the award on behalf of partners Chris Kelly, Lynette Calabrese and the rest of the team.
Ms Wynen said staff were hard-working and very dedicated to their job. She said the staff had developed a great relationship with the community since it first opened its doors 10 years ago.
“We aim to offer a range of unique health services to the community, including the Kate Morgan weight loss program, Chemmart Diabetes Support Centre and blood pressure testing,” she said.
“We’re also looking to refurbish the store in the near future to incorporate direct dispensing and a consulting room. Both improvements to the store fit-out will ensure direct contact with customers to build even better relationships.”
Chemmart Pharmacy Executive director Jonathan Layton said the partners and staff at the Casey Central store were extremely worthy recipients of the award.
“There’s no doubt that the team at Casey Central Chemmart are incredibly committed to their pharmacy as a health destination for their customers, setting the benchmark for other pharmacies.”
