Food, wine and sunshine

Over 50 local and regional stall holders attended the Casey Food and Wine Festival held at the Old Cheese Factory in Berwick on Saturday, 13 October.

Now in its second year the festival was an opportunity for businesses to showcase their produce, products, culinary skills, alcohol by providing samples or products for sale.

Stall holders from inner city Melbourne, Gippsland, Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley, Western suburbs and South West Coast attended the festival.

Approximately 3000 visitors wandered through with a mixture of ages, children, teenagers and cultures.

Workshops including Dani Venn a Master Chef finalist and Sanctuary for Souls (meditation, wine and chocolate) provided hands on experiences for all.

The children were kept busy with hands on cooking and making workshops, along with the playground and jumping castle.
