Food truck rally draws to an end

The monthly Berwick Food Truck Rally provided entertainment, food and beer at the Old Cheese Factory for the last time on Sunday.

Due to lack of interest the event has been cancelled and won’t be continuing into the future.

“It’s a terrible shame but it just never seemed to reach the attendance numbers we needed to attract food vendors,” event organiser Julie Benson said.

“The families that did join us had a wonderful day out and the children danced the day away which was particularly beautiful to see.

“Yesterday (Sunday) I watched a father share a slow dance with his young daughter, memories are not made in front of an Xbox. They’re made by days like these.”
