Fiddlers Green Retirement Village in Berwick are topping off the year with their annual market to raise funds for the residents on Saturday 10 November.
The raffle is expected to be one of the highlights of the market, with 20 fabulous prizes up for grabs including hampers and gift vouchers.
Last year’s raffle raised $800. This year, all raffle proceeds will go towards a drought relief fund.
Raffle prizes include a $100 Zagames voucher, a $100 Fountain Gate Hotel voucher, a $50 Berwick Inn voucher, a $75 Dandenong Club voucher and Genesis Fitness passes plus more.
“Being for the drought relief, people have been so generous,” Fiddlers Green Retirement Village activities committee vice president Pam Mamouney said.
Member for Gembrook Brad Batten will draw the raffle prizes at 11.30am and member for Latrobe Jason Wood donated the advertising leaflets.
The market will have lots to offer, including 29 stalls selling homemade cakes, local honey, fresh fruit and vegetables from local growers, the Red Cross food stall, locally produced wooden pens and jewellery and craft stalls.
Don’t miss out on the glorious live music, the sausage sizzle and Devonshire tea.
Bring the children along and enjoy the activities, face painting, lucky dips and the art and craft tables with prizes.
The market is from 9am to 1pm at 57 Gloucester Ave, Berwick, opposite the Berwick railway station.
