Three easy and healthy lunch box snacks…
1) The simplest and healthiest foods stay extra-yummy when they’re tucked inside individual little compartments. Fill the containers with a protein such as bow-tie pasta salad with veggies, some fruit such as watermelon, vegetables such as baby greens with low-fat dressing, and a small treat like two cookies.
2) A tuna sandwich with lettuce on whole wheat bread, baby carrots with low-fat dip, a plum or apple and a handful of savoys.
3) A sliced boiled egg, kiwi fruit with mixed berries, string cheese and a handful of whole wheat biscuits and a slice of banana bread.
