Berwick Show

The Berwick and District Agricultural and Horticultural Society has been organising the Berwick Show for over 160 years. The society is made up of volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure the Show is bigger and better than the prior year. This year, the Berwick Show will celebrate its 170th year with a weekend full of events and entertainment sure to make this one of the best shows yet!

The show will run across two days and include:

• rides

• show bags

• wood chopping competitions

• petting zoos

• arts and crafts and much more!

• Saturday 23 February from 9am to 9.30pm and Sunday 24 February from 9am to 4pm at Akoonah Park, 2 Cardinia Street, Berwick.

Pop up brekky

Informal breakfast in the community is supported across the City of Casey. This is an opportunity to meet and socialise with your neighbours.

• Saturday February 23 from 8.30am to 10am at Clydevale Reserve.

Boomerang Bags Sewing Bees

Boomerang Bags is a community initiative where volunteers make reusable bags from recycled fabric and provide them to the community as a sustainable alternative to plastic bags. Help make bags at the fortnightly sewing bees. Tasks include:

• cutting materials

• ironing

• screen printing and

• sewing

• All ages welcome and no experience required.
