A handy breakthrough

POLICE believe black gloves discovered by students in a Eumemmerring school playground last week might belong to a thief.
A classroom at Eumemmerring Primary School was broken into between 3.30pm Wednesday 6 September and 8.40am the next day when a digital projector was stolen.
Police said entry was gained through a sliding door and chairs were moved to climb up and reach the projector which was attached to the ceiling. Only a few days prior, some speakers had been stolen from the same classroom. This incident was also reported to police. Police said students found a pair of black gloves on the school grounds following the break in, which might have been worn by the thief. Anyone with information regarding the break in can contact Narre Warren police on 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
