DUE to Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday last week, VLBA ladies pennant round was not played at Narre Warren Bowls Club.
Wednesday’s nominated pairs winners were G. Manifold, A. White (s). Runners-up were R. Pompe, J. Zanon (s). Best last game winners were W. Okuniewski, B. Brewster (s).

Friday was ladies gala day that was well catered for with 24 teams attending representing clubs from Blue Hills, Berwick, Cranbourne, Cranbourne RSL, Dandenong Club, City, RSL/Rec, Edithvale, Frankston RSL, Ferntree Gully, Pakenham, Keysborough, Long Island and Noble Park.
The winners were Keysborough team, Narre Warren runners-up and best single-game winners was Berwick team to top off a great day.
Saturday’s mixed bowls winners were S. Robinson, A. McGann, Al. White (s).

Division six, section six played at Narre Warren against Boronia (4) for a comfortable win overall 16/126 to 2/96.
