Faye Tuck in the KNOW

BERWICK’S very own AFL mother Faye Tuck was recognised for her efforts in raising her two AFL listed sons at a special function in Melbourne last week.
Ms Tuck was named joint runner-up in the AFL Players’ Association Kangaroos Network of Women (KNOW) Mother of the Year award.
Richmond’s Shane and Hawthorn’s Travis nominated their mother for the award, which was announced during a gala cocktail function at Victoria University last Thursday night.
Lizzie Corrie, the mother of Essendon player Alwyn Davey and Melbourne’s Aaron Davey, won the award with Sally Pettifer, mother of Richmond’s Kayne Pettifer, named as joint runner-up alongside Ms Tuck.
Entries for the award were received from players across Australia.
