THE City of Casey is supporting a number of community Christmas events across the municipality during the festive season.
Casey mayor Kevin Bradford said local Christmas festivities were a great way to celebrate the year, meet new friends and continue to build strong communities.
“I encourage residents to participate in the host of community Christmas events supported by council,” he said.
The range of events supported by council includes carols by candlelight events, family fun days and youth Christmas celebrations.
Christmas on the Foreshore will be held from 6pm to 10pm on Friday, 23 December at Tooradin Foreshore.
Harness Racing Club Christmas Raceday will be held from noon to 6pm on Friday, 23 December at Cranbourne Racecourse, Grant Street, Cranbourne.
Casey Carols by Twilight will be held from 6.30pm on Saturday, 24 December at Max Pawsey Reserve, Magid Drive, Narre Warren.
