Rotary boosts Care coffers

THE Rotary Club of Narre Warren held its annual business lunch recently with funds raised assisting the ongoing work of South East Palliative Care.
The wellattended lunch at the Fountain Gate Hotel was organised by Rotary’s vocational service director Ken Larkin.
Guest speaker Ray Juhani, manager of Bunnings Warehouse, Fountain Gate, spoke about his company’s commitment to community involvement and service.
A cheque for $1200 was also presented to the chairman of South East Palliative Care, former Casey mayor Neil Lucas, at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Narre Warren.
Club president Ross Chudleigh, who was assisted by Ken Larkin in presenting the cheque, said Rotary had been a consistent supporter of South East Palliative Care over many years.
“We are delighted to be able to continue our assistance by raising funds at our business luncheon — my thanks to those who attended and to Ken Larkin for superb organisation of this annual event,” he said.
