Trail of evidence

THIEVES left a ‘trailer’ of destruction last week when they targeted a Berwick home.
The Jason Close home was hit between 3pm and 4pm on Thursday, 21 September when a trailer was unchained from a carport and towed away.
Inside the trailer was various carpentry tools including a drop saw, nail gun and power tool.
The stolen tools and trailer were worth an estimated $5000.
A neighbour told police that they had seen a Ford sedan driving away with the trailer.
Anyone with information regarding the theft can contact Narre Warren CIU on 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
