NARRE Warren Bowls Club hosted RVBA Section five to eight men’s singles on Sunday, 15 January, with winner R. Davidson over G. Cohen 21 to 20.
While last Wednesday’s nominated pairs was cancelled due to rain, Saturday’s social bowls winners were G. Hocking, B. Clarke, E. Gibb (s). Runners-up N. Hosmer, S. Bell, L. Cook (s).
Monday’s summer indoor bowls winners were R. Brewster, F. Khoury, J. Smith, J. Morrow, D. Smith (s).
During the Christmas-New Year break limited bowling activities took place at the Narre Warren Bowls Club with many on holidays.
Competition during the week between Christmas and New Year started on Wednesday with the nominated open triples winners being H. Henneman, P. Geraeds and E. Gibb (s).
Runners-up were H. Bretherton, B. Clarke and H. McCombe (s). Best last-game winners were T. Henneman, P. Castricum and A. Tattersall (s).
Friday’s nominated triples winners were J. Henman, P. Castricum and R. Hoare (s).
Runners-up were G. Lowry, R. Naughton and P. O’Day (s). Best last-game winners were R. Pigdon, B. Clarke and G. Miller (s).
Saturday’s social bowls winners were R. Pompe, F. Appleby and J. Heathcote (s).
Best last-game winners were J. Brewster, P. O’Day and A. Kidd (s).
