Orders set for weekend rally

BERWICK rally driver Will Orders will be looking to put a disastrous round one performance behind him at the Australian Rally Championship in Western Australia this weekend.
Orders and co-driver Toni Feaver recorded an eighth placing to start off the season before failing to finish in race two, with both starts plagued by mechanical troubles.
It leaves them in 15th position overall as they head into round two.
“There were just a few too many silly things that happened at the last round,” Orders said.
“Because we’re a privateer team without the budget of the big heavy-hitters that we’re competing against, we have a few mechanical problems surface that expectantly come up from time to time.
“But we’ve done our best to put it all behind, learn from it, and move on to compete strongly and make amends in WA.”
Orders and Feaver have completed a successful test session in their Subaru Impreza STI since round one and will be hoping for a change of luck.
“We had a really strong test session and we’ve made a number of improvements to the Subaru that will put us in strong contention this weekend,” Orders said.
“Toni and I are confident that it will bring us back to the front of the field even though we haven’t raced at this venue before.”
