It was an even contest with two rinks each with Berwick just getting the points 14/86 to 4/84.
P. O’Day, M. Gordon, D. Smith, L. McCurran (s) won 18/17; J. Hewitt, J. Hickman, B. Brewster, R. Naismith (s) lost 21/25; L. Metaxas, I. Brotherton, F. Appleby, G. Manifold (s) won 24/20; R. Naughton, F. Fox, S. Douglas, L. Willcox (s) lost 21/24.
Division six, section six played at home against Cranbourne (4) that had a big win 14/105 to 4/83.
N. Hosmer, J. Uren, L. Egan, D. Amezdroz (s) lost 11/32; J. Scanlan, J. Slavko, R. Bligh, G. Miller (s) lost 19/32; S. Birkett, B. Potter, R. Hoare, H. McCombe (s) won 24/18; L. O’Brien, B. Duiker, D. Faulkner, C. Heath (s) won 29/23.
Saturday’s mixed social bowls winners were R. Pompe, R. Gillet, N. Bell (s). Runners-up were J. Zannon, A. McGann, M. Horton (s).
