MOVE over Australian Idol – Mossie Idol is here.
Mossgiel Park Primary School students took the stage late last term to take part in the third annual Mossie Idol talent quest.
Youngsters from grades three to six put on a range of acts included dancing, singing, comedy, acting, music and puppet displays.
Classroom teachers ran auditions with the top routines from each grade level selected to perform at lunchtime in front of a small audience.
Winners of this audition went through to the final where nine acts took to the stage in front of the whole school.
The wider school community was invited along to see the performances with a cheerleading group taking out the Mossie Idol title.
