Playtime gets cash boost

YOUNGSTERS at Narre Warren Central Children’s Centre are all smiles after $1000 of new books, games and toys were given to the centre.
Casey councillor Michael Farley made the donation out of left over funds from the council’s mid-year budget review.
Cr Farley said he decided to donate the money after a recent visit to the Yooralla run organisation.
“When I went down to speak to the parents and staff down there they told me that money for books, toys and other items for the kids would be really appropriate,” he said.
“The kids are just so over the moon about it all.
“They are playing with them every day and really enjoying the new toys.”
