POLICE have arrested two people following an armed robbery on a Hallam service station last Tuesday week.
An attendant at the Coles Express Service Station was allegedly grabbed in a head lock before being threatened with a screw driver about 2.30am.
The employee was told to hand over money from the cash register before the assailants escaped on foot.
Police arrested a 19-year-old Hallam man and a Eumemmerring woman, who were each charged with one count of armed robbery. Both have been bailed to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 30 October.
