NARRE Warren police interviewed an Albion man last Wednesday in relation to two rapes in the Berwick area.
Detective Senior Constable Brian Whitehead said the rapes occurred a year apart and the 32-year-old man had been released pending a summons.
Police also interviewed a 33-year-old man in Barwon Prison last Thursday in relation to a burglary at a Hallam business last March when more than $17,000 worth of tools were stolen.
The former Grantville resident is currently serving time for other burglaries in the Casey area and a summons is now pending in relation to the latest incident.
