New book is the next step for work

JOB interviews are daunting at the best of times but a Casey author has penned her thoughts about flying through the process.
Annemarie Cross has helped coach thousands of people to achieve their goal of a better job and hopes to assist even more with her new release 10 Key Steps To Ace That Interview!
Casey mayor Colin Butler joined Ms Cross to officially launch the book last month at Narre Warren Library.
“There are a huge number of people that enter the work place for the first time, return to work after time away or want to change jobs,” she said.
“10 Key Steps To Ace That Interview! has been written to help anyone who wants to prepare themselves properly for their next job interview.”
Ms Cross holds internationally recognised certifications in employment interviewing, career coaching and resume writing.
“The City of Casey is one of Australia’s top three fastest growing municipalities over the past five years, and with one of the highest number of people in Australia under 24 years living in the area, education and employment opportunities are vitally important in our community,” Cr Butler said.
“To take advantage of the current and emerging opportunities that are available in the workforce, people need to be able to present themselves in the best possible way to prospective employers,” he said.
Ms Cross donated some copies of her book for local residents to borrow from the Narre Warren Library.
Cr Butler said the book would be an asset to the many educational institutions, secondary schools and community groups that provide vocational and employment support to community members in Casey.
