Raiders on a roll after break-ins

NARRE Warren Criminal Investigation Unit detectives reported several burglaries over the past week.
Thieves ransacked a Hallam factory on Wednesday 28 October and stole a laptop computer. A security alarm was activated at about 8.50am at the Apollo Drive business.
A Berwick house under construction had $900 of floor tiles stolen last week. Police said the Thirlmere Court property was broken into sometime between 4pm on 19 October and 8am on 22 October. The house was at lock-up stage but was entered after a rear sliding door was forced open.
More than $1000 cash was stolen from a Hallam’s Possitano’s Restaurant on Wednesday 24 October. The Princes Highway eatery was entered at about 3.45am and had its daily float stolen.
And thieves raided a site shed at Beaconhills College and stole a wallet containing $300 cash. The crime took place at the school’s Village Campus on Kangan Drive, Berwick. Several spray paint cans were also stolen and used to vandalise the inside of the shed and an excavator.
