Christmas trees recycled

CASEY residents have been advised that it’s business as usual for rubbish collection over the Christmas break.
Household rubbish, recycling and green waste services will all operate as usual throughout the holiday period with normal collection occurring on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Residents can also dispose of their old Christmas trees for free at the council’s transfer station which is managed by Consolidated Waste.
The tree must be separate from any general waste so it can be mulched and composted.
The facility is located at Cemetery Road, Cranbourne.
For opening hours contact 5996 5116.
