Gators fly the flag

LAST week Fountain Gate Junior Football Club unfurled last year’s Under-10 Blues premiership flag.
This year’s Under-11 Blues continued to play well, registering another good win.

Against a determined Cranbourne outfit, the Gators lost their way in the second quarter, but came out after half-time and outscored their opponents.

The Gators played a far more committed outfit and it showed in all aspects with only five players trying to carry the team.

In a great start the Gators kicked the first two goals, but after that the wheels fell off.

The Gators showed a lot of courage and focus on the task at hand.
Against a physical Cranbourne, the Gators went down by a few goals, but put in a complete effort on the day. Dylan Taylor and Daniel Jude did well in their first games for the club.

After the unfurling of the 2005 flag, the team put in another top effort and can be proud of itself for a excellent effort.
