IT was a good win to Narre Warren Bowls Club’s division-four, section six against Chelsea in RVBA pennant round 17 on Saturday.
Scores were 16/101 to 2/86.
R. Naughton, S. Douglas, R. Naismith, M. Gordon (s) won 27/18; R. Dixon, D. Randall, F. Appleby, G. Manifold (s) won 31/25; P. O’Day, J. Hewitt, G. Miller, I. Brotherton (s) lost 18/20; J. Uren, B. Brewster, D. Smith, L. McCurran (s) won 25/23.
Division 6 Section 6 played Glen Waverley away to register a good win 16/93 to 2/79.
L. Klarica, J. Scanlan, R. Bligh, N. Bell (s) won 31/20; S. Platt, C. Bell, J. Hickman, A. Kidd (s) won 19/16; G. Haringsma, J. Slavko, R. Hoare, D. Amezdroz (s) lost 19/25; L. O’Brien, N. Hosmer, S. Birkett, L. Willcox (s) won 24/18.

Friday’s ladies invitation day at Narre Warren saw a very successful day with 26 teams taking part.
Teams came from Berwick, Cranbourne and RSL, Pakenham, Garfield, Noble Park, Kooweerup, Morwell, Mornington, Somerville, Warragul, Frankston RSL, Dandenong RSL, Ferntree Gully and hosts Narre Warren.
