SOUTH Korea, New Zealand and Australia recently played the multi-disability Tri-Nation Lawn Bowls Series at Clearview Bowling Club in South Australia.
Andrew Brandolin from Hampton Park Bowls Club was in the Australia B pairs and fours, winning a silver medal in the fours.
The combined points scored by Australia A and B teams over the five day series, resulted in a good win for Australia.

Les Unwin, Alan Wilcock, Lance Davis and skip Robert Naismith rallied over the closing ends to go down by only five shots (19-24).
Greg Pentland, Basil Pope, Graham Slight and skip Geoff Ladner had trouble matching the opposition (22-35).
It was an end-to-end battle on rink 13 with Charles Hose, David Hendrie, Andrew Brandolin and skip Neville Hendrie missing by three shots (22-25).
Fred McBrian, Ken Cobden, Geoff Ampt and skip Bob Woodfield came from eight shots down on end 14 to finish 11 shots up at the end (30-19).

Hampton Park played Mulgrave CC at home to score a 38 shot win.
A good start and a strong finish saw Gerry Cox, Allan Unwin, Allan March and skip Keith Damon win by 20 shots (37-17).
Sheila Scothorne, Ray Wood, Bob Nicol and skip Ray Leggett got piped at the post by two shots (20-22).
It was a slow start on rink two, but Werner Melzer, Bill Tannahill, Keith McCarthy and skip Rob Woff dug deep to pull off an 11-shot win (32-22).
John Scothorne, Rudy Oost, George Pettitt and skip Bill Webb won only four ends in the second half, hanging on to win by 10 shots (34-24).

With an 89-shot win, the Parkers, playing at home, shocked the Carrum team with the margin.
Rhonda Diaper, Ellen Smith, Shirley Burnside and skip Heather Naismith slowed at the finish to go down by five shots (19-24).
It was a solid performance with a winning margin of 20 shots by Joyce Cameron, Mavis Kelly, June Damon and skip Mary Hose (30-10).
Everything went right for Lorna Hayes, Dot Carr, Grace Hogan and skip Chris Hendrie when they registered a 44 shot win (52-8).
